Chef Chris Bellino subscribes to the classic
culinary theory of using superior products to
create the best possible dishes. His style is a
mix of influences ranging from Mediterranean
to Classic American.

Chef Chris discovered his passion for food at the
age of 14, working in local restaurants and
developing his skills. He attended the
commercial foods program at the Atlantic
County Vo-Tech School. Upon completion of this
program, he enrolled in the accredited Baltimore
International Culinary College in Maryland,
where he graduated at the top of his class.
Upon graduation, Chris added to his culinary
skills in Ireland.

Returning to Atlantic County, Chris was offered
a position at the Tropicana Casino and Hotel
under Chef Joe Laporte. He worked at Tropicana
for 11 years where he rose through the ranks
to the level of Restaurant Chef. Chef Chris was
then offered the Executive Chef position at
The Vienna Inn in Galloway. During his stay at
the Vienna Inn, Chris received numerous
accolades and excellent reviews. In October of
2008, Chef Chris joined the Smithville Inn
family.

Chef Chris also credits his success to the
support of his wife Suzanne, a Culinary
Institute of America graduate and an
excellent pastry chef as well as their two
children, Lyla and Liam, for allowing him to grow
and prosper in the ever changing culinary world.
